Earlier this year, I had the unique opportunity to welcome the Lithuanian band Katarsis to Basel as part of their journey to the Eurovision Song Contest. Their team was in town to shoot the official intro clip that will be broadcast during the contest — and I was thrilled to be part of it.

I picked up the band from the train station and brought them straight to the Birtel Brewery, a creative hub and one of my favorite spots to paint. The plan was simple but exciting: finish up one of my mural walls and incorporate their band logo directly into the artwork. The idea was to fuse their musical identity with the energy and style of urban art — something that would visually represent their spirit on the Eurovision stage.

The whole production was handled with incredible professionalism by Dynamic Frame, a crew that clearly knows their craft. They captured the creative process and the vibe of the location perfectly, bringing together music, art, and the unique flair of Basel in a way that felt honest and exciting.
This collaboration was not only a celebration of art and music but also a reminder of how cultural events like Eurovision can bring people from all over Europe together in unexpected and meaningful ways.
Thanks again to Katarsis, Dynamic Frame, and Birtel Brewery for making this project such a memorable one. I'm excited to see how it all comes together on the big screen — and I’ll be cheering for Katarsis on the Eurovision stage!
